By tradition, in the beginning of each month we give you a round-up of the latest developments in InEx Finance budgeting software. We thank all users who actively participate in the Questions/Answers discussions, share their improvement ideas and send us their suggestions on new features that may be useful to the entire InEx Finance community. We greatly value your participation, since thus we can understand your personal finance planning needs better and make InEx Finance more user-friendly and useful.
The recent novelties in InEx Finance online money management software include:
1. Credit Management
We added a new feature that allows you to schedule credit returns or additions in the events calendar. Thus it will be easier for you to manage recurring payments under your current debts or deposits and keep better track of due dates. Let's say you have to pay off 1,000 USD on your mortgage on the 20th of each month. You've already added a debt “Mortgage” into your InEx Finance account with a total amount of 30,000 USD. So instead of manually entering new Credit Return transactions of 1,000 USD on the 20th of each month, you can schedule the recurring Credit Returns in your events calendar and indicate the day and time when you would like to be reminded by email about the upcoming payment dates.
2. Events Calendar
InEx Finance online money manager makes it even easier to organize and manage recurring payments by offering advanced schedule options for events. Let's assume that you have a recurring event linked to an income/expense transaction occurring on the 7th, 19th and 25th of each month. We added a new monthly repeat option that allows you to choose as many random dates in a month as needed. When creating a new event, open the Schedule tab and select Repeat ->”Monthly”, Day type->”Day of month” and Day->”7”, “19”, “25”. Don't forget to set the parameters for email Notifications to keep you up-to-date on your upcoming payments.
3. Table Reports
At the end of last month we extended the array of reporting tools available in our online personal finance software by adding two more table reports. The Net Worth report depicts your current
assets versus liabilities and your total net worth. You can see at a glance how much you're worth by looking at all your assets (money in your various Resources, Goals, Deposits) minus liabilities (the amount of your Debts). This report provides a clear picture of your real financial standing and will help you take better money management decisions. The second report called Income Statement is a mirror-like reflection of your account Overview page. It lists all your income and expenses by categories and subcategories, along with the net balance for the given period. Both reports can be saved to your computer by clicking on CSV/Excel icon in the table header.
4. InEx Finance Android App
Following numerous users' requests, we finally implemented the possibility to log in to InEx Finance Android app via external services, namely Gmail, Yahoo or Yandex account. This feature will definitely come in handy for users who prefer to sign in to our web version using external authentication, yet they still had to use login and password in order to access the Android app. This kind of inconvenience our mobile users had to put up with for a while has already been eliminated and we hope this will improve your personal finance management experience.
